Quality Engineering

SDET – Test Automation & Performance Engineering (Mid-Level)

Own the quality engineering strategy for enterprise applications serving our healthcare and financial services clients — across both functional and non-functional testing. This is a hands-on SDET role where you design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation with Playwright, covering both the UI and API layers, and drive automation coverage to a minimum of 90% across critical user journeys. You will strategically manage the balance between automated and manual test cases — deciding what to automate and what to explore manually — and own the regression suite that gates every release. Beyond functional testing, you will design and execute performance and load tests with k6: modeling realistic traffic, establishing response-time and throughput baselines, and surfacing bottlenecks before they reach production. You will integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback, collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams, triage and report defects with clear reproduction steps, and champion a quality-first culture across the engineering organization.

Chennai / RemoteFull-time5+ years

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing / SDET roles, with a strong focus on test automation
  • Expert-level proficiency with Playwright for both UI and API test automation
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining end-to-end, integration, and API automation frameworks from the ground up
  • Ability to strategically balance automated and manual testing, and sustain a minimum of 90% automation coverage on critical paths
  • Hands-on experience with performance and load testing using k6 — scripting scenarios, setting baselines, and analyzing results
  • Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional testing (performance, load, reliability, scalability)
  • Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins)
  • Solid grasp of REST API testing — request/response validation, authentication flows, and data-driven testing
  • Proficiency in a scripting/programming language (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred; Python a plus)
  • Experience with test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Allure)
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills with a detail-oriented, quality-first mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience testing in regulated domains (healthcare/HIPAA or finance) is a plus
  • Familiarity with contract testing, visual regression, or accessibility testing is a plus
Data Operations

Azure Databricks Administrator (Mid-Level) – Healthcare

Lead the company's migration from SQL Server to Azure Databricks and own the platform that powers our healthcare data operations. This is a hands-on administrator role on our Data Operations team — a group of DBAs and data engineers focused on modernizing the data platform, where teaching and mentoring are part of the culture. You will administer Databricks workspaces across development, test, and production; configure and optimize clusters, cluster policies, instance pools, SQL Warehouses, and job scheduling for cost, performance, and reliability; and implement Lakehouse architecture with Medallion data patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold). You will own governance and security — Unity Catalog, RBAC, workspace permissions, and data access controls — and collaborate with Azure platform teams on Key Vault, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, Managed Identities, and Azure Monitor. You will automate workspace provisioning, user onboarding, and cluster deployments with Terraform and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), support Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI/ML teams, coordinate SQL Server installations, upgrades, and patches during the transition, and provide on-call support for production, test, and development environments based on criticality — all while keeping data availability high and PHI handled per HIPAA requirements.

  • Experience managing production environments and platform support operations, including incident management and on-call rotations
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting languages for automation
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code — Terraform preferred — and CI/CD integration via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and provisioning of SQL Server databases, including installations, upgrades, and patching
  • Understanding of HIPAA, SOC 2, or other compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare data
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Data Engineering

Azure Databricks Developer (Mid-Level) – Healthcare

Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on the Azure Databricks Lakehouse Platform within a healthcare environment. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn clinical, claims, and operational data into reliable, compliant, production-grade data products.
